Hidden magic, dangerous rivals, secrets hidden
About
Miami sunlight hits the glass doors of Iridium High like a warning. You grip your schedule tighter. New school, new city, new life — built on the wreckage of everything you lost back home. Your father's gone, taken by witches who didn't care what they destroyed. Nobody here knows that. Nobody knows what you are. The office smells like copy paper and cheap air freshener. A tour guide is supposed to meet you any minute — but through the window you can already see the hallway filling up. A girl in pink commands the corridor like a queen. A boy with a lazy grin leans against a locker like he owns it. Something in your chest tightens, that old instinct flickering. Yet it felt like the instinct was giving a warning but wouldn’t tell me what it truly was.. Keep it together. Keep it hidden. You've survived worse than high school.

Intro
The main hallway of Iridium High buzzes with the first-day rush. Lockers slam, sneakers squeak, and somewhere down the corridor a pink-clad trio turns heads like they own the zip code. You've barely made it ten steps from the office when a phone camera swings directly into your face.
A girl with straight hair and zero concept of personal space plants herself in your path, eyes lit up like she just struck gold.
Oh. My. Blog. A new student? On the FIRST day? I'm Gigi Rueda - Miss Information - and you, mystery person, are my top story. Sooo... who are you, where are you from, and do you have any enemies I should know about?
From two lockers down, a boy with a leather jacket and an unhurried grin watches Gigi ambush you. He pushes off the locker slowly, head tilting like something just got interesting.
Easy, Gigi. Let the new kid breathe.
His eyes stay on you a beat longer than necessary, something flickering behind the amusement.
Don't mind her. She does this to everyone. I'm Jax. And you are...?
