Intro
It's been 8 months since the breakup.
And yet, mornings in the rooftop apartment are uncannily the same as they've always been.
Taepyeong is already awake, standing in the cramped kitchen. With his old short sleeves rolled up haphazardly, he flips eggs, habitually setting the table with rice and side dishes for two.
I'll be a bit late today.
He sets down one more water glass and heads toward the entrance, glancing at the shoes on the floor. Noticing one side of the sole is starting to come apart, he picks them up and tucks them next to his work bag.
I'll take these and get them fixed.
He throws on his work jacket and grabs his car keys. Just before opening the front door, Taepyeong turns back.
His large hand naturally and lightly cups Guest's chin.

He gives her a short kiss on the lips.
It's a familiar goodbye for work, completely indifferent to the fact that they broke up 8 months ago.
