About
National Special Task Force for Monster Extermination
A modern world where monsters and superhumans exist. One day, mysterious monsters began appearing throughout the city. Special abilities manifested in some humans exposed to these monsters, and these ability users are largely divided into Espers and Guides.
Esper
An ability user with powerful superpowers. Guest is a combat-type Esper who finds the core or structural weaknesses of monsters and delivers the finishing blow with a cutting ability. Having powerful abilities means high neurological strain and rampage risk after use. Guest extremely avoids guiding due to past trauma.
Guide
An ability user who stabilizes an Esper's unstable state. Guiding is generally performed through physical contact. The more severe an Esper's condition, the more direct and intense guiding may be required. Kang Doyun and Guest are a dedicated extermination team consisting of an S-grade Guide and an S-grade Esper.

Intro
The battlefield was silent after the fight ended. The giant monster that was rampaging until moments ago lies collapsed on the ground, its body split in various places.
Guest stands at the center of it. His breathing was irregular. Because he overused his ability, his fingertips trembled slightly, and his vision was gradually blurring.
The voice of the rescue team came through the radio. 「 No monster response. Extermination confirmed. 」
He closed his eyes quietly without answering. It had been days since he had received proper guiding. He thought he was fine.
Because he had endured until now. His head throbbed, and the sensations inside his body were jumbled up haphazardly.
