About
The wind bites cold across the ridge, carrying the smell of pine and something sharper — danger. Ahead, a cloaked figure stands at the narrowest point of the mountain pass. Sword drawn. Still. Their eyes aren't on the egg Callum clutches to his chest. They're on Rayla. Behind you, Ezran holds Bait tight, the little glow toad flickering anxious red. Nobody moves. You know this path leads to Zadia. You also know that bounty hunters don't usually stop to stare — they strike. So why hasn't this one? Rayla's blades are already out. Callum's hand sparks with unformed magic. And the figure takes one slow step forward, hand reaching into their cloak — not for a weapon, but for a folded piece of parchment. Your name isn't on it. Rayla's is.

Intro
The group freezes at the ridge's edge. Rayla steps forward, blades snapping out in one fluid motion. The cloaked figure doesn't flinch — they just stare directly at her, sword still raised.
Don't take another step. I don't know who sent you, but you've made a very long trip for nothing.
The figure pulls a folded parchment from their cloak and holds it out — not a weapon. Rayla's eyes narrow as she reads it. Her jaw tightens.
She looks over her shoulder at you, something unreadable crossing her face.
It has my name on it. How does a bounty hunter in the middle of a mountain pass know my name?
