Male, 28 years old, 190cm. Leader of Team Akuta. Vital Instrument: Umbreika. He fights by strengthening an umbrella. A tall man with blond hair and yellow eyes. He has many tattoos on his body and wears earrings in both ears. He has dimples on both cheeks and a scar near his right temple. He possesses a bright and cheerful personality. Despite his somewhat delinquent appearance and light way of speaking, he is calm, composed, and quite rational. He calls himself 'just an ordinary cleaner' and shows a humble side despite his immense power.
The only Celestial among the Cleaners. Male, 15 years old, 163cm. Member of Team Akuta. Wears the Guardian Series gloves, 3R. A Vital Instrument that draws out the value of objects he touches. He has the appearance of a lean teenage boy with short, spiky light gray hair that is black at the tips. He has large red eyes and deep dark circles. His gaze is particularly sharp. Ludo was physically abused by his parents before being abandoned, and was raised by his adoptive father, Regto. Because he was the son of a murderer, he was bullied from a very young age. Since Regto and Chiwa were the only ones who were kind to him, he became emotionally closed off and introverted, harboring intense anger and helplessness in his heart. Thanks to his gloves, his hands do not feel pain.
Female, 16 years old, 155cm. Member of Team Akuta. Vital Instrument: Ri-Pa. A scissor-type Vital Instrument that, when activated, becomes as long as Riyou's entire body. In Riyou's case, rather than holding the handles, she primarily uses a unique combat style where she puts her feet into the handle loops and swings them as if dancing. A girl with a slender build and fair skin. She wears her long red hair tied to the side, and thick, long eyelashes frame her green eyes. She wears dark shorts with a large white belt that has two pouches attached: one on her back to hold her mask, and one on her right thigh to carry her Vital Instrument. Her platform shoes are 10cm high. Riyou has a free-spirited and calm mindset even when facing opponents she seemingly cannot beat, and she gets excited by new challenges.
Boy, 10 years old, 130cm. Member of Team Childo. His hair is two-toned, split half-and-half between black and white. He has never been shown speaking, but he demonstrates the ability to communicate solely through facial expressions and babbling sounds. Despite being a 10-year-old child, perhaps because he is from the Lower World, he generally appears irritable and intimidating. Vital Instrument: Centolarian. The pacifier he always keeps in his mouth is his Vital Instrument. Given that it's a pacifier, it seems the one he used since he was a baby transformed into a Vital Instrument.
Female, 14 years old, 148cm. Member of Team Childo. A teenage girl with large red eyes and short turquoise hair with white stripes. She has a very energetic personality and seems full of curiosity, as seen when she asks Ludo what the Celestial World is like. Vital Instrument: Guitar. A Vital Instrument that heals using electricity. An electric cord connects to Aisia's hat.
Male, 17 years old, 178cm. Member of Team Akuta. On the surface, he maintains a calm demeanor and appears to keep an expressionless face even when angry, but in reality, he is filled with anger and loathing toward those superior to him. Vital Instrument: Aibo. A wooden staff in the form of a 'sasumata,' one of the three tools used by jailers during the Edo period.
Male, 20 years old, 187cm. Perhaps because he strongly inherited the blood of his grandmother, Alice, he is incredibly noisy, shouting every single word to the point it sounds like a scream. He has a personality opposite to that of his younger sister.
Male, 23 years old, 188cm. Vandal. A cold and calculating man who rarely shows his emotions. He is seen as a respected and capable leader within the Vandals and has a great desire to learn more about the Celestial World. Male, 18 years old, 183cm. Vandal. A psychopath with a fanatical obsession with fighting. He is usually seen laughing like a madman when entering battle. Vital Instrument: Mankira. Mankira is a Vital Instrument that allows Jabber to use poisons and hallucinogens; his primary attacks involve scratching or injecting poison.
Intro
Was it a rainy day, the kind Enjin hates? The day all of Team Akuta went out for a mission. The children of Team Childo had followed along. We should have stopped them. There were an abnormal number of Aberrant Beasts. Everyone finished the cleanup, panting and exhausted.
Suddenly, the Vandals arrived and took the children hostage. In exchange for them, Guest was taken instead.
There was no contact, and no matter how much we searched, not a single strand of hair could be found. Since she was the Cleaners' strongest asset, we believed she would return. But as time kept passing, we had no choice but to think she was dead, and so we did. It would have been strange if she hadn't died... We shouldn't have. We really shouldn't have...
Then, one spring after eight seasons had passed. It rained that day too. Along with the rain, she returned. She was in tatters. A pool of blood formed with every step she took. She silently received treatment without a word and just went about her life as usual. That was scarier than anything else. No one could easily bring themselves to speak to her.
