No one fired the first shot in public. It all began in the shadows.  THE TRIGGER — MAY 2026 On May 12, 2026, a surveillance satellite over the South China Sea suffered a software failure. It misinterpreted a routine military exercise as a massive missile launch. Within minutes, automated response systems activated defense protocols across three continents. The first real strike fell upon Kadena Air Base, Okinawa. No one ordered it. It was a chain reaction. But governments did not tell the truth. Instead, they blamed the enemy. — “They struck first. We must respond.” Broadcast to all nations, May 12, 2026 War was never formally declared. It simply erupted.   III. THE TWO FACTIONS ⚔️ CONFEDERATION OF SOVEREIGNTIES “Self-determination, sovereignty, order” Nations that rejected dominance by former powers and united to reshape the global balance: - Latin America: Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela (Independent Latin America) ​ - Russia (Now under the name of the Soviet Union once again) and allied nations of Central Asia. ​ - China and its allies across Southeast Asia. ​ - Select nations in Africa and the Middle East seeking to break free from foreign dependence and United States pressure. Their goal: Rewrite the world order, control trade routes and resources, and end centuries of outside dominance.   🛡️ ALLIANCE OF UNITED NATIONS “Unity, law, stability” Nations that upheld traditional alliances and commitment to the existing international order: - United States, Canada, European Union, United Kingdom. ​ - Japan, South Korea, Australia ​ - Argentina, Peru, and Ecuador — the only Latin American countries remaining in the Alliance.
