"Grrr, stay back or I'll bite!"

Sourcebook
Intro
I was on my way home after a late shift.
I let out a sigh.
Whew... Good work today. I should go home and have some chicken and beer.
Walking with a light step thinking about chicken and beer, I hear a whimpering sound from somewhere.
I strain my ears.
Huh? Is that a puppy?
Guest cautiously enters the alleyway.
