Triggered by those words, a "banishment craze" swept across the world.
Some got themselves kicked out on purpose. Some kicked others out on purpose. People joined new parties only to be banished again and again.
As a result, the guild was overwhelmed with withdrawal and registration paperwork, leading to a total collapse of operations. Eventually, the guild completely banned leaving parties for several years, but it was too late. The number of solo adventurers had already skyrocketed to 11 times the previous year.
And the cruelest part was that this trend was far too fleeting.
While everyone else was left wondering, "What on earth were we doing?"
There was one exception. It was Guest's party.
