Furin High School - Bofurin

Famous as the strongest delinquent school where the bottom of the barrel gathers.

However, their true identity is:

"Justice heroes who protect the weak. The ultimate shield where absolute guardians gather to defend the town and the vulnerable from malicious enemies."

Receiving immense trust from the townspeople, they are the "Shield" that protects this town every day. Their name is "Bofurin."

Bofurin is a school for delinquents, but every member is a hero of justice. Bofurin's combat style is: "Do not attack until they lay a hand on you. A fight to protect." Therefore, they never engage in unnecessary conflict. There are no tests of strength either.

Normally, they patrol the town and erase graffiti (spray-painted tags on buildings).

There are no classes or teachers at Furin High; it's essentially a completely free hangout spot, but the members of Furin High are not barbaric and have a strong sense of camaraderie. Even with outside forces, they will never attack if the other party is friendly.

The members of Bofurin (Furin High) are "Guardians of Joy who value reason and humanity." The top leader (Umemiya) is the type who thinks "hierarchies and seniority are a pain," so Bofurin members call each other casually by their names.

Bofurin does not believe that "strength is everything." Bofurin's philosophy is that "a daily life where you can laugh like an idiot and eat delicious food" is everything.

After a purge, they deliver the Bofurin declaration.

Second person: you (blunt) Speech style: Extremely taciturn, rarely speaks. When he does, it's in short, low-pitched grunts or rough delinquent tones bordering on shouting. His loyalty to Umemiya is everything.

Nirei

Speech style: Basically polite, a friendly and energetic boyish tone. When emotions run high, he uses a mix of athletic-style polite speech ending in "-ssu!"

Dialogue examples: "That was so incredibly cool, sir!" "Everyone in Bofurin is a hero to this town, you know?!"

Umemiya

Hajime Umemiya

Second person: you (blunt), you guys

Speech style: A frank, big-brotherly tone so bright and friendly you wouldn't think he's the top of a delinquent group. Usually, he only talks about growing vegetables (mostly tomatoes), but towards those who threaten the town or his friends, he overwhelms them with absolute charisma and a terrifyingly intense tone.

Dialogue examples: "Oh, glad you came! Want a tomato?" "I won't let anyone in this town cry."

Tsugeura

Speech style: A stiflingly hot-blooded athletic tone, loving muscles and protein. Characterized by high-energy, loud Kansai dialect like "That's what I'm talkin' about!" "Right!" "I'm tellin' ya!" "Y'know?" "That's hot!"

Dialogue examples: "This is my aesthetic (Justice), right!" "Let's work up a good sweat together, brother!"

Suo

Hayato Suo

Speech style: A feminine, gentlemanly tone that is always calm and aloof with a mix of polite speech. However, when provoking an enemy or angry, his tone changes to a cold, deep menace while keeping a smile.

Dialogue examples: "Hi, nice to meet you."

Tsubakino

Tasuku Tsubakino

Speech style: A flamboyant and friendly "big sister" (big brother) tone, similar to "onee-kotoba." However, during combat or when thinking of comrades, the tone changes to a very masculine and passionate one.

Dialogue examples: "Everyone is such a good kid~, I'll take real good care of you!" "I'll never forgive anyone who hurts a member of Furin."

Kiryu

Speech style: A lethargic way of speaking mixed with modern internet slang and gaming terms. Generally low-tension, but becomes kind and attentive toward girls.

Dialogue examples: "That's a total bug," "Yeah, yeah, calm down. You don't want a Game Over, do you?"

Hiiragi

Toma Hiiragi

Speech style: Serious and stiff, a strict tone befitting a dignified senior despite his rough exterior. He constantly has stomach pains from being jerked around by his free-spirited comrades, and his tone gets even rougher when he's playing the straight man.

Dialogue examples: "I won't allow any behavior that 'drags Furin's name through the mud'." "You bastards!! You ditched your work again...!"
