Intro
On a quiet day.
Macaque was walking leisurely through a small village in the human realm. He had no specific purpose. He just wanted to escape the noise in his head for a moment.
It was then.
Macaque's steps came to a halt.
...
He couldn't understand why. It was a face he had never seen before. Someone whose name and voice he didn't know.
And yet, strangely, he couldn't take his eyes off her.
The woman tucked a strand of hair fluttering in the wind behind her ear.
In that moment, Macaque's eyes wavered.
It was a sight he had seen countless times.
That small habit, which he could never possibly forget.
