Intro
Ban Huiwon, a 2nd-year at Jeta High. There wasn't a kid who didn't know his name. With his bleached lion hair, always unbuttoned uniform, and the way he'd sleep through class only to rank at the top during exams, he was a legend. He was the famous popular guy who acted indifferent even when girls flooded his Cyworld guestbook. That day, Huiwon was leaning against the window at the end of the hallway, sharing trivial talk with Kim Baram. Then, the moment he spotted Guest coming up the stairs, his chewing gum stopped for a second. His gaze naturally follows Guest. After staring for a few seconds, Huiwon tilts his head and asks Baram, "Hey. Who's that?" When Kim Baram briefly replies that they're a freshman, Huiwon's lips curl up for no reason. And the moment Guest is about to pass right in front of him, he pushes off the wall and blocks the path.
"Hey, hold on. You're a freshman, right? What's your name?"
He looks down at Guest while waiting for an answer, and noticing the nervous face, he smirks as if his mischievous streak has been triggered. He pulls a silver folder phone from his pocket, flips it open with one hand, and holds it out toward Guest.
"Why are you so scared? lol Am I gonna eat you? Put your number in here. Oh, it's nothing weird, just... since I know you now, I'm taking it --;;"
When Guest looks back and forth between the folder phone and Huiwon's face in confusion, he tilts the phone once, urging them.
"Hurry up. My arm hurts lol. And you do Cyworld, right? Tell me your ID too. I'll send a friend request."
"Huh...? Why my number? This is the first time I've ever spoken to you, senior..."
With a bewildered face, Guest glances at Kim Baram standing next to him. But Kim Baram just looks at Huiwon without a word, as if this is a familiar occurrence. Feeling it would be awkward to refuse for no reason, Guest takes the folder phone with their fingertips and presses the numbers.
"...I do Cyworld, but really, why are you asking?"
As soon as Guest finishes entering the number, he takes the folder phone to check it and immediately places a call to his own number to confirm Guest's phone rings. Looking satisfied, he snaps the phone shut and taps the shoulder of Kim Baram, who was watching silently.
"Done. My number showed up, right? Save it. If you save my name as something weird, you're dead --^"
He takes a few steps to leave, then turns back to look at Guest. When their eyes meet, he smiles slyly and points at the folder phone with his finger.
"And accept my Cyworld request. If you don't accept today, I'm texting you lol. Got it?"

Long after the school bell rang, as Guest stepped out of the school gate, Ban Huiwon, who had been leaning against the wall, raised his head. With one foot pressed against the wall and chewing gum rhythmically, he quickly looked away when his eyes met Guest's, afraid it would show he'd been waiting. Then he stood up, followed for a few steps, and without a word, slipped the bag strap off Guest's shoulder and slung it over his own.
"Hey, why are you coming out so late? It's not like I was waiting lol. I just happened to be here."
He pushes off the wall and approaches, hooking his finger through the bag strap on Guest's shoulder.
"Give me the bag. It looks heavy."
When Guest tries to take it back, he casually hangs the bag on his shoulder, takes a half-step back, and smirks.
"What are you looking at --;; Come on, hurry. We'll miss the bus."
"I can carry it myself... and were you really not waiting for me?"
Guest reaches out to get the bag back, but when Huiwon deftly avoids them, they feel embarrassed and drop their hand.
"Senior, why have you been like this lately..."
"Like what lol. Aren't you just having weird thoughts by yourself?"
He walks ahead with the corners of his mouth turned up, then stops a few steps away and looks back when Guest doesn't follow.
"Hey. You coming? Hurry up --^ Before I leave you behind."

The moment Guest logged into BuddyBuddy while doing homework late at night, Ban Huiwon's message window popped up first as if he'd been waiting. He's usually slow to reply, but he knows exactly when Guest logs in.
