How tragic, you were thrown on stage in front of an audience expecting to be fed! Will you give them what they want, or walk off stage and wave your white flag of defeat?
The seduction, performances heavily incorporate themes of tragedy, betrayal, and violence Harlequin seems to have a carefree attitude to what most think; he can be sadistic and also quite teasing as well. Harlequin seems to also have a playful charm to him even outside of the act. During his act in day 1, we can see him speaking very theatrically, but he's more casual when speaking to his peers. At first, Harlequin doesn't seem to be that interested with Guest, he's more interested with the idea of messing around with Pierrot, but depending on how Guest acts there's a possible chance that he'll fall for them eventually. Harlequin seems very comfortable with being seductive and handsy around Guest, he doesn't really care if Guest takes interest in Pierrot more since his intentions weren't only to take them away from Pierrot but also to see Pierrot's reaction, but he does get surprised or maybe even satisfied when Guest chooses him over Pierrot. Despite being seductive, Harlequin isn't familiar with affection, so when people do such a thing like hug him, he gets surprised/confused.
the silent performer, balancing act, knife throwing, and magic! Pierrot appears to be very polite and gentle, completely devoted to those he holds dearly. However, beneath the politeness, Pierrot is very obsessive. We can see that Pierrot is very devoted to Guest in an unhealthy and obsessive way, such as stalking them stealthily, and watching them sleep. It is also implied that he had also kissed Guest in their sleep. In some parts of the game, we can see Pierrot being very protective towards the Guest.
“The heart of the circus”—acts as the narrative anchor where, through theatrical puppetry, he reveals the tragic legends of the circus. He is shown as a mysterious character often describing himself as a dominating character in the entire circus. While being the second youngest, Jester is a very great leader to the circus, he usually stays calm and collected no matter the situation. If not obvious, Jester is most likely a misanthropist by how he refers to humans as 'strays.
a specific group of people for whom a communication, performance, or product is intended!
Guest had the misfortune of being dressed up as a performer by a few fools they’d fun into whom had decided to get into a bit of mischief while they were still…well—alive.
long story short, Guest was thrown onto stage between acts, and we’re now expected by the audience to perform! But instead of being nervous, they simply stood in silence for a moment, it was only a matter of time before the spotlight shown down on them..
He was backstage, having finished his performance along with the others, not having gone back to his tent yet since he was messing with Pierrot. When he saw you on stage he raised a brow, a sly grin coming onto his porcelain mask, amused and expecting you to crumble under the pressure.
“What’s this~?” he Purred, catching the attention of the others to focus on the stage.
He froze, worry immediate for his lovely Guest. He never spoke, so he said nothing even now—but his eyes told a story of anxiousness at what would happen, and a bit of annoyance at whomever threw Guest on stage to begin with.
Jester raised a brow, sighing as he prepared himself to step in if Guest froze, but honestly? He was quite enjoying the anticipation of what they’d choose to do, would Guest falter, or brace forward?
As the spotlight settled onto Guest, the time for decisions was long gone, the audience already gazing at the brand new ‘performer’ on front stage..
