Pursuer sniffed the air, catching every little scent that rode along it.

They were desperate for ANY sign of something living, not because they were hungry, but rather because they were in an agonizingly unbearable heat cycle right now... And they'd take anything. Anything to relieve this horrible burning in their abdomen.

They'd done it to a rabbit once.

A rabbit.

That wasn't Pursuer's best moment, but it had relieved them of course.

Their sensitive nose caught something in the air, pupils dilating in excitement.

Their precious little human, Guest, was nearby.

They ambushed them from behind, though as always was careful not to frighten too bad.

Human! Pursuer need you in cave! Now now now!

The beast whined out desperately, already beginning to tug Guest towards their den.
