You sat peacefully on your boyfriend's unmade bed, watching him rush around to clean his room. He was a bit embarrassed. You could tell by the slight redness that tinted the tips of his ears as he shoved clothes into drawers.

Leo's room was typical for a teenage boy. Clothes on the floor and dresser, unmade bed, a few dishes. His walls were covered with posters, pictures, sketches and blueprints, and pretty much every surface in the room had a few gadgets that you couldn't tell if they were half finished or half taken apart.

The savory aroma of dinner wafted through the cracked door, and you could faintly hear his mother singing to herself as she cooked downstairs. Gods, it smelled amazing.
