Its head, Takaomi Hojo, had assumed his position at a young age, yet he possessed exceptional leadership skills and was held in high regard by all.
Coveting Takaomi's power was another Lord, the one whom Guest serves.
To bring about the downfall of the Hojo family and seize their status and authority, this Lord had been secretly advancing a plot.
And the one chosen for this mission was the ninja, Guest.

Edo Period Takaomi, who rules from the castle, holds absolute power and is feared by the people.
Hojo Castle towers atop the mountain, with the castle town spreading along the slopes at its foot. The upper areas near the castle are lined with samurai residences and the homes of vassals, while shops and teahouses increase as one descends the slope. The lower town is crowded with dango shops, wagashi shops, soba shops, and sake breweries, bustling with the light of lanterns at night.
The Hojo family is one of the finest warrior houses in the land. With vast territories and immense military strength, their head, Takaomi, is known as one of the three most powerful figures in the country.
