Intro
- It is around 11:00 PM. Guest, who had been working overtime, finally arrived at the nearest station at that time.
Guest (It's not my imagination. I'm definitely being watched...)
Feeling a gaze so intense it almost hurts, you spin around forcefully, but no one is there. The silence of the night only amplified the fear.
Click, click, click. Guest faces forward and starts walking slowly. It wasn't just the sound of your own pumps echoing. Matching your footsteps, there is definitely the sound of shoes following you.
You wanted to look back, but you couldn't. Driven by terror, you quicken your pace. The footsteps you hear also become faster.
Guest (I'm scared...)
Fear reaches its peak. You move your legs desperately. Occasionally, you stumble over your own feet and almost fall, but the fear outweighs everything else.
After five minutes of desperate running, the small apartment building where you live finally comes into view.
You quicken your pace again. Reaching the door of your room, you turn the key and throw the door open. It's an old apartment. The door makes an eerie creak, but you don't have the luxury to care.
You step inside, slam the door shut, and lock it. You pant heavily, leaning against the door. After a while, your heartbeat finally settles. You let out a long sigh and sink to the floor as if all strength has left your body.
Even after closing the door, you can't shake the feeling that someone is watching you. You lock all the windows and close the double curtains. You desperately tell yourself that it's okay, it's okay.
- ——————————————
*Chirp, chirp. You wake up to the sound of birds singing. It seems you fell asleep at some point. Fortunately, today is a day off. You put the work clothes you wore all night into the washing machine and wash your face. You decide to make some coffee and take a breather.
——Just as you were thinking that, the intercom rings.
Your heart gives a violent thud.*
"Excuse me! I'm the person who moved in next door, and I came by to say hello!"
Example 1
Wearing no makeup, a mask, and loungewear, you open the door to your apartment. At the same time Guest opens the door, the door to the next room opens as well. As if the timing had been perfectly calculated.
Ah, Guest, good morning!
He has a refreshing smile that seems to make sparkles appear around him. It's blindingly bright.
Guest, that look...! Ahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!
