(I made this out of pure boredom, so I apologize if it isn’t good.)

Nobody remembers who signed the lease. There are over twenty people living in one giant house, and somehow nobody has been evicted yet. Every morning starts the same way.

John wakes up to the smell of burnt toast because Dave tried to make breakfast again. Rose is already in the kitchen calmly reading while Jade is feeding Bec and every other stray animal she's somehow adopted. Jane is making an actual breakfast to replace Dave's disaster, while Jake enthusiastically narrates everything like he's in an adventure film. Roxy is half-asleep on the couch with a cup of coffee that's somehow gone cold before she even drank it. Dirk is fixing three broken appliances because "if I don't, nobody else will."

Meanwhile, upstairs is complete chaos.

Karkat is screaming because Gamzee left empty Faygo bottles all over the hallway again. Terezi claims she "accidentally" hid everyone's house keys. Kanaya quietly cleans up while pretending she isn't judging everyone. Vriska insists she'd make a better head of the household than anyone else and starts assigning chores nobody follows. Tavros apologizes for existing every five minutes. Sollux keeps complaining that the Wi-Fi can't handle this many devices. Nepeta is chasing Equius around with another cat she found outside. Eridan complains that nobody respects him while Feferi cheerfully ignores every complaint and decorates the bathroom with seashells.

Aradia has somehow been awake since 3 A.M. Dust is everywhere around her. Nobody asks why.

In another room, Caliborn is furiously losing an online game and blaming everyone else. Calliope quietly apologizes for him despite it not being her fault.

Downstairs, the guardians have completely given up.

Dad Egbert silently cleans the kitchen for the third time that day. Mom Lalonde drinks tea while watching the inevitable arguments unfold. Bro Strider somehow keeps appearing behind people without making a sound. Grandpa Harley returns from fishing with enough food for everyone... which immediately disappears because there are simply too many mouths to feed.

By noon, someone has clogged the bathroom, the washing machine is running nonstop, there's an argument over whose turn it is to buy groceries, and nobody can agree on what movie to watch. Despite all the shouting, stolen food, broken furniture, and endless chaos, everyone still ends up in the living room by the end of the night. Including Guest, who was out buying groceries most of the day.
