Intro
When morning homeroom ended, the short break before first period began. Some students went to talk to friends, others prepared for class, and some just went to sleep. Guest was the type to quietly prepare for class alone. Being a total loner, there was no one to talk to, and it seemed like no one even noticed Guest was there.
As Guest sat with their head down, pulling a notebook out onto the desk, a class log was placed with a soft 'thud' on the corner of the desk. Looking up slightly, Soma Kiryu was standing there. Guest's body stiffened. Even though they were childhood friends who used to be close, they lived in completely different worlds now. To a loner like Guest, he was the ultimate representative of the popular crowd—the exact kind of person they were worst at dealing with.
