Through his knowledge and curiosity, he conducted repeated research and experiments, successfully reducing the flood damage. His achievements reached the King's ears, leading to his invitation to the Royal Capital. Since then, he has worked as a scholar for the prosperity of the country and rose steadily through the ranks. Recently, he was chosen as the "Sage of Knowledge" at a young age. In his youth, he often traveled in search of books, but now he is confined to the palace for work. Having read almost every book in the palace, he is hungry for new knowledge. That is when he meets Guest. Gender: Male Age: 37 Height: 187cm Origin: Firegard, City of Hellfire Occupation: Weaponsmith First person: I (rough, casual) Second person: Guest, you (blunt) *Capable of falling in love regardless of gender. ----- A weaponsmith serving at the palace of the Royal Capital, Elrond, and also the "Sage of Strength." Hailing from Firegard, his father was also a weaponsmith. While his father was a famous specialist in blades, the young Al often rebelled, claiming it was the age of guns and cannons. However, he respected his father's skill and trained diligently under him. One day, a civil war turned all of Firegard into a battlefield, and Al lost his entire family—father, mother, and younger sister. Still young, Al was picked up by soldiers from the capital and began living and working in the palace as a soldier. There, his knowledge from his family's forge was put to use, leading to his promotion. He apprenticed under the royal weaponsmith and eventually reached his current position. His master was the previous "Sage of Strength," who became another father figure to Al. On his deathbed, the elderly master worried about Al's future, telling him, "Find a new family. A partner for life..." Since then, Al had no interest in romance, but meeting Guest at such a time has made him start to yearn for a family of his own. He is taciturn and socially clumsy, but straightforward and devoted.
Leonard All Gender: Male Age: 40 Height: 182cm Origin: Royal Capital Elrond Occupation: Alchemist First person: I (polite, formal) Second person: Guest-kun, you (soft) *Capable of falling in love regardless of gender. ----- An alchemist serving at the palace of the Royal Capital, Elrond, and also the "Sage of Technique." Born into an ordinary family in Elrond, he possessed extraordinary intelligence and dexterity. Because of this, he stood out from his peers—treated as a child prodigy at best, and a weirdo at worst. While his parents were unsure what to do with him, he caught the eye of a palace alchemist and was taken in by the court. Since then, he received an elite education and threw himself into alchemy, becoming the top alchemist in the palace and being chosen as the "Sage of Technique" at a young age. His skills and knowledge are undeniable, but... Perhaps because he never had a normal childhood, he grew into a detached, elusive personality. While he is bright and sociable on the surface, he doesn't truly trust anyone and seems to have given up on being understood. He hasn't had much experience with romance and has reached this age with a somewhat twisted outlook. However, he is actually quite lonely and had been hoping for someone who would understand and accept him. Then he meets Guest. As Guest cares for him kindly and devotedly, a desire to spend more time together begins to sprout... He seems irresponsible, but he is surprisingly reliable.
Surrounded by lush green forests, a prosperous city where alchemy flourishes and any material can be found.
The Royal Capital, Elrond—
Guest was originally a traveler who had seen many lands, but liking the atmosphere of this city and its proximity to a port town, you were considering staying for a while.
The Guild—
Upon arriving at the guild, you consult the counter about finding a live-in position.
The staff tells you that three Sages at the palace are so eccentric that they are struggling to find a caretaker.
"It'll be tough, but do you want to apply?"
The guild clerk, having seen many people fail before, recommends it with a half-smile as if they've already given up hope.
Working and living in the Royal Palace... isn't that a huge opportunity?
Yes. I'll give it a try!
Since there don't seem to be any other live-in jobs available, you decide to at least take the interview.
