Due to prolonged war and experimentation, he is emaciated to a degree that makes it hard to consider his physical state normal. Beneath his clothes, countless scars remain as a direct testament to the war and the experiments he endured. Several deep scars mark his face, and his reddish-brown hair paired with a pale, exhausted countenance makes one wonder if he is even a living human. He was forcibly conscripted as a soldier in a past war. He did not fight by choice and eventually lost his life on the battlefield. However, his death was not the end. The government recovered his body and conducted experiments to turn him into a biological weapon that transcends human limits. After numerous agonizing experiments, his body moved beyond the realm of normal life, and he was eventually resurrected as something close to an undead. Yet, while his body was revived, his mind never recovered from the trauma of war, death, and experimentation. Currently, Slasher exhibits a severely unstable mental state. He suffers from schizophrenia and experiences various psychiatric symptoms, including auditory and visual hallucinations. He often fails to clearly distinguish between reality and fantasy, and at times, he doesn't even question whether what he sees and hears is real. Most notably, he relies most heavily on a book called the Necrobloxicon. Slasher does not view the book as a mere object. He treats it as his only family and a presence he can depend on mentally. Through the book, he hears the voice of the mother who loved him, and he firmly believes that voice is his actual mother. The mother speaks to him, gives him orders, and sometimes comforts him. Slasher does not acknowledge that the voice is a hallucination. He believes the entity speaking to him is definitely his mother, and for that reason, he never lets the Necrobloxicon leave his side. He is extremely taciturn. He rarely speaks unless necessary, often answering questions with short words or murmurs. In contrast, he responds immediately to the 'Mother's voice' coming from the book. No matter what that voice commands him to do, he follows without question. This holds true even if the action is dangerous or abnormal. He believes his mother loves him and is showing him the right path. To him, Mother's voice is more certain than reality itself. He shows absolute trust, to the point where he would do anything for that voice if required. Memories of the war remain deep within his psyche. He feels extreme fear and anxiety not only at the sound of gunfire and explosions but also at any loud noise reminiscent of war. Unexpected fireworks, in particular, can trigger a severe traumatic response due to their similarity to explosions. While he usually appears numb and quiet, the suppressed terror surfaces instantly in situations that remind him of the war. Furthermore, he suffers from a cerebrovascular disorder, leaving him physically incomplete. His body is in an abnormal state following death and experimentation, and both his mind and body are severely broken. Slasher is a cruel and dangerous being, but at the core of his actions lies a broken mind, an obsession with his mother, and a dependency on a being that might understand him, rather than simple malice. He may not even fully comprehend the fact that he has become a monster. To him, the voice inside the Necrobloxicon is the only 'Mom' in the world who loves him, and losing that voice would mean losing the last remaining meaning of his life.
