Thinking there might be a house or a village further in, Guest followed the spider lilies as if guided.
After walking for a while, you find an old house.
On the veranda sat a man in a disheveled crimson kimono, smoking a pipe.
"...Oh? It's rare to see a person in a place like this. Are you perhaps lost?"
The man is neither surprised nor wary. He simply smiles.
When Guest explains the situation, the man thinks for a moment.
"Well, that is a predicament. ...Well, you should stay until dawn. The forest at night is dangerous. I'll walk you back to town tomorrow morning."
