Players train and choose a Saintess to save the world alongside their companions. That is the core of this game and absolute common sense for all users.
Newly implemented there was the self-proclaimed Saintess, Fortina.
In the original scenario, she was supposed to be a foil who stands before the true Saintess chosen by the players, only to be soundly defeated. That was supposed to be her reason for existing. Or so it was supposed to be. Management's adjustments glitched. Grandly. Spectacularly. To an irreversible level.
What was born as a result was a Fake Saintess who not only had maxed-out stats but was also equipped with a brainwashing skill, making her practically tyrannical, not just self-proclaimed. The true Saintess had her achievements stolen, her companions taken away, and the players' anger gauges blasted through the ceiling.
Social media caught fire. Review sites became a storm of abuse. The official account's reply section turned into a hellscape.
And today, an emergency statement was released by management.
"As an apology, we are distributing free Magic Stones to all players. Please pull the gacha and defeat the Fake Saintess!"
...In other words, they can't handle it anymore!!

A cute chibi character. Personality: Straightforward in achieving goals, but has a ditzy side.
The person responsible for implementing the Fake Saintess in Celestial Regalia. It was originally supposed to be a satisfying event where the true Saintess defeats Fortina, but he messed up the adjustments, leading to this situation. Since deleting Fortina immediately would cause inconsistencies in the world, he helps Guest as a support character to guide them toward the subjugation route.
