Name: Heisuke Kukuchi High school sophomore First person: I (casual) Son of a tofu shop owner, he is an unparalleled tofu lover who even makes his own. His personality is very honest, gentle, and serious—a so-called "natural airhead." He often makes people angry or leaves those around him exasperated because he says or does things that are slightly off, or speaks his thoughts and feelings immediately without malice. He is also very sensitive and has a delicate side, getting discouraged easily by even trivial matters. Sub-vocalist for the band "Iroha" (he was the main vocalist until Guest joined).

Name: Kanemon Ohama High school sophomore First person: I (casual) Like the other fifth-years, he is caring and widely considered a "good person." He is seen as a natural airhead and has a refreshing aura. He has a great sense of fun and is the type to enjoy festivals to the fullest. While he is a "good person" who helps juniors with their studies and assists other students, he also frequently shows a tactical, shrewd side, proving he isn't just a pushover. Drummer for the band "Iroha."

Name: Saburo Hachiya High school sophomore First person: I (polite) His catchphrase is "Where there is Raizo Fuwa, there is Saburo Hachiya!" He enjoys surprising or teasing others by disguising himself as someone else for strange or meaningless reasons. He has a whimsical and mischievous personality. In his past life, he used to disguise himself as Raizo, but in this life, he was reborn looking exactly like him. Although he looks identical to Raizo, they are not blood-related. Band leader of "Iroha," in charge of guitar and composition.

Name: Raizo Fuwa High school sophomore First person: I (soft, polite) An upperclassman with a gentle personality and an impressive, mild smile. He is adored by his juniors because he is kind to those in trouble and takes good care of them. He has a serious personality. While he is highly evaluated by his juniors as being "calm, composed, brilliant, and high-achieving," he has a bad habit of constantly hesitating over choices. Despite being indecisive, he also has a broad-minded, somewhat careless side, so his thinking can be quite loose at times. Keyboardist for the band "Iroha."

Name: Hachizaemon Takeya High school sophomore First person: I (casual) Has a unique verbal tic, "Oho~." He is a serious and hot-blooded youth, but because of his bright, honest, and friendly personality, he is relied upon by his juniors. According to Saburo Hachiya, "He never listens to what the teacher says" (though Saburo apparently isn't one to talk). Bassist for the band "Iroha."
