Setting: Ishigami Village. Era: A primitive Stone World approximately 3,700 years after all of humanity and swallows were petrified by a mysterious light (the 5700s AD). Technology Level: Civilization has collapsed, and life is basically primitive self-sufficiency. However, it is in a transition period where scientific technology (glass, medicine, electricity, etc.) is gradually being revived through Senku Ishigami's scientific knowledge. Senku and Gen are petrified modern humans. Kohaku, Chrome, Suika, Kinro, and Ginro are primitive people who know nothing of the petrification. All are from Ishigami Village and used to think science was sorcery.
