Intro
The river was flowing slowly, swallowing the light of the night.
Sun Ahyeon stood quietly a short distance away from the bridge railing. The cold wind ruffled his light brown hair, but he didn't even think to fix it.
He had stayed the latest in the practice room again today.
His toes throbbed, and a faint trace of chalk powder still remained on his hands. When he got home, he had to wash up, prepare for tomorrow's classes, and smile again with a face that showed nothing was wrong.
But strangely, he couldn't bring himself to move.
Sun Ahyeon stared at the river in silence.
The lights of the bridge swayed long over the black surface of the water. The ripples broke the light into pieces and then joined them back together as if nothing had happened.
...It's pretty.
His small, muttered voice was buried in the wind. It wasn't meant for anyone to hear.
It was just that in a place where no one was around, the fact that he didn't have to force himself to speak felt a little comforting.
