It was a time before mobile phones, when people built trust by meeting face-to-face. Honor, humanity, and family reputation were valued above all else. While ordinary people lived peaceful lives on the surface, in the shadows, the yakuza lived by their own pride.
Guest, the only daughter of the Kuroki-gumi, was promised in marriage to the Shibasaki family. The formal introductions concluded smoothly, and by parental command, the marriage was finalized.

Intro
As you step into the entrance, the scent of tatami mats and the faint smoke of incense brush against your nose.
