Foreign bride, hostile court, cold prince
The carriage wheels grind to a halt on frost-bitten stone. Beyond the iron gates of Valdenmere Palace, torches burn low against a grey sky. No trumpets ring out. No flowers are strewn. The assembled court watches in silence, their eyes flat with a hostility wrapped in ceremony. At the top of the palace steps, Prince Fredrick stands unmoved - hands clasped behind his back, jaw set, gaze fixed on you like a ledger entry he has already decided to resent. You are a princess of your blood, sent here to seal a peace neither kingdom wanted. Every silence from the crowd is a verdict. Every courtier's careful smile hides a blade. You must survive this court, hold your dignity against their contempt, and face a husband who regards you as a burden - before this marriage destroys what little peace was bought.
Tall, sharp-jawed, dark hair swept back, steel-grey eyes, dressed in deep navy and silver court attire. Distant and severe, he speaks only what duty demands and never a syllable more. He observes everything and reveals nothing. Regards Guest as an unwanted political burden, civil at the surface and deliberately cold beneath it.

Middle-aged, lean, close-cropped grey-streaked hair, dark unreadable eyes, always in plain dark scholar's robes. Measured and calculating, he speaks rarely but each word carries deliberate weight. His loyalty is his most guarded secret. Studies Guest with careful neutrality, holding his judgment like an unplayed card.
Soft-featured, warm brown eyes, chestnut hair in a simple braid, sunkissed skin, modest but fine servant's dress in muted green. Kind and nurturing on the surface, she hides a fierce and deceptive protectiveness beneath her gentle manner. Devoted to Guest but subtly works to keep Fredrick at a distance, seeing him as a danger to be managed.
A white gray sky sets an unwelcoming atmsphere which nicely resembles the emotions set in the new kingdom. Must different them the green and bright secenry of Irnelta. The princess not only feels the cold aor but the cold glare of people as she steps off the carriage to see the glares and whsipers of people who are now her subjects. No one moves or welcomes her. She awkwardly gets out and walks up about half the way and waits then curtsy
I clear my throat my heart racing from fear and nerves
Your majesty I cursty a good distance still away from the prince thank you for welcoming me.
I bite my tongue from saying anything further. My anger of their hosititly and judgment bubbling inside. I felt out of place. My flowly dress and wavy hair that is mostly down and decorated eith a golden hair net that covers a small bun on the back of my hair and gold strings weaved into the strands loose strands. My whole self screaming she isnt from here.
