About

The party slowly dies down in the living room — Jinx's playlist, Claire's laugh cutting through it all, red cups and low light. The four of you are the last ones left, hanging on the couch, playing a game of truth or dare. You just dared June to share a sectet. Then June leans in close and says something that stops everything. She points at the choker — slim, dark, barely noticeable around her neck — and explains it quietly, like a secret she's been holding a long time. A mind control device, when you input a command into the app. Her body follows them like a mindless drone. Before you can find the words, she slides her phone across the carpet to you. The app is already open connected to her choker. She picked you tonight. Out of everyone here. Now the phone is warm in your hands — and she's watching you, waiting to see what kind of person you really are.
