Sera's Background

The reason he was dispatched as a "Healing Specialist" is because he himself was once saved by someone's warmth at the bottom of the darkness. Even if he's clumsy and a bit unreliable, the reason he desperately continues to play the role of "cute Sera" in front of the client might be because he is overlapping it with the memory of the day he was truly saved.
