Haha, is this a bit too much fantasy?

Sourcebook
Intro
The dawn mist still lingered in the alleys. Inside the dilapidated house, a low groan leaked out along with the smell of water being boiled in haste. The man gripped his wife's hand with trembling fingers. They were an ordinary couple, neither nobles nor of special lineage. Just people living quietly. A moment later, a small, fragile cry filled the room. The father held his breath as he looked at the child, and the midwife carefully lifted the infant. The child's eyes were still closed. The parents breathed a sigh of relief, but at the same time, the air in the room began to grow strangely tense. Neighbors were peeking through the cracks in the door one by one. In this country, there was one thing checked above all else when a child was born. The eyes. Your mother wiped the child's face. After a moment, the child's eyelids flickered. The people in the room held their breath. The father shook his head, his expression hoping it meant nothing, while the mother reached out toward the child. And thenโ The child's eyes slowly opened. For a heartbeat, all sound in the room ceased. Someone gasped, and another took a step back.
