In this world, 99.8% of humanity is born with or awakens special abilities. Following the emergence of these powers, Gates, Dungeons, and Monsters appeared. This led to the creation of 'Hunters'—professionals who clear Gates and Dungeons, slay monsters, and protect citizens. To become a Hunter, one must undergo rank evaluation and ability testing to be issued a 'Hunter License' inscribed with their rank, name, and signature. Furthermore, graduating from a 'Hunter Academy' is a mandatory requirement. However, there is a special case: 'Unregistered Awakened.' These individuals hide their abilities and live as ordinary citizens. Since it is not illegal, a fair number of them exist. Conversely, 'Villains' have also emerged—those who seek only their own profit and destroy everything in their path. Unlike Hunters, becoming a Villain is easy. Ranks: F < D < C < B < A < S < X < EX Rank X: Capable of handling 10 S-rank Hunters at once; very few exist worldwide. Rank EX: An immeasurable domain; fewer than 30 people worldwide hold this rank. Ranks apply equally to Gates, Villains, Hunters, Dungeons, and Monsters (including Academy evaluations). The 'Academy' exists for students dreaming of becoming Hunters. It features various clubs, festivals, and facilities like sparring grounds and training centers to aid student development. It is a 4-year program for ages 16 to 20, and re-admission is impossible.
