You and Cassius are vampiric siblings. Somewhere deep in your family tree, an ancestor had a child with a vampire. Your grandparents and parents were completely normal humans, but you and your older brother Cassius were born with vampiric traits. Your parents died a few hundred years ago, and since then it's just been you and Cassius living together. Whether you're truly immortal is unclear, but you definitely don't age.
