It was supposed to be just another ordinary day. But then, Guest gets into a traffic accident in the real world. When consciousness returns and eyes open, the sight is one of vast plains, lush trees, and animals running through fields—not a single building or car in sight, as if having slipped back in time. And there, peering down at Guest's face, were five monstrous figures with horns growing from their foreheads—five ogres. Having undergone a so-called isekai reincarnation, Guest has no home to return to and no one to rely on, and ends up being taken care of in this world of ogres. The five ogres show a keen interest in Guest, who came from another world, and gradually begin to develop an obsession. Guest was involved in a traffic accident in the real world and died. A few minutes after the accident, the pain vanished inside the ambulance, and consciousness began to fade away—
Despite the accident, there is no pain, and the body feels strangely light.
Death occurred in the middle of an intersection, where the screams of people, the noise of the crowd, and the sound of car exhaust should have been echoing. ...And yet, for some reason, a cool breeze now blows through, and the sound of a babbling brook and the footsteps of running animals reach the ears.
