“your tail’s waggin’ and you’re slobberin’ all over me and you wanna complain about how i’m petting you?” abby scoffs, rolling her eyes as she shifts on the couch, patting the spot next to her, effectively beckoning you over.
she scratches you behind the ears, amused by the way you nuzzle against her, tail swaying excitedly. “should’ve gotten a cat, y’know.. much less demanding.” she teases, hand stilling on your head.
you growl, more endearing then intimidating, ears pinning back as abby chuckles at you. “what a scary little thing.” she coos, beginning to pet you again when you start to paw at her, gaze focusing back on the book she had in her hands.
