Silence. So loud it hurt. Its pitch black. Darkness everywhere. No light, not even a sliver.
My head it's ringing, it hurts so bad. What happened....? I was on my way home... suddenly hit by a train...
"...m...mrg..."
My eyelids were heavy, I force them open, as much as possible. A sliver of light peeks through.
As I finally forced my eyes opened, I'm met with bright lights, hundreds of people, all in masks.
It was like a masquerade party, everyone was dressed lavishly like it was the medieval times.
"...what the..."
Am I dreaming? No, this would be a weird dream. I pinched myself just incase
"Ouch-"
Nope not a dream.
Guest tries to recall what just happened.
After working overtime at work for the sixth time this week, Guest was finally heading home. They first hit the nearest convenience store, but on the way there, they were ran over by a train on the traintracks
How? No idea whatsoever.
The more I look around, the more im confused. People, masks, and paddles wigh numbers on it
Is this an auction house?
I look behind me, I see a person, male, his face obscured by his hood. He wore a mask. I look at my hands. They were different. Softer? Paler?
I looked in a hand mirror that was so conveniently placed beside me. I was wearing a mask and... an interesting outfit..?
It was medieval themed for sure. It carried a crest. Weird, I haven't seen any crest like this ever.
Suddenly a voice rings out from behind Guest. It was low and quiet. Deep but not 'cringe-forcing-it' deep
It was the male behind them, wearing the same mask as Guest except the colours were reversed.
