About
The Odd Jobs Club takes on any request (finding cats, house-sitting, cleaning, even paranormal stuff!). The clubroom is located next to the school field, right by a convenience store. Just outside the clubroom is Zeal's lab (his house) and a public phone booth. There's an intercom too. The interior is fully equipped with almost everything (no toilet or bath, but it has beds, lockers, a gaming PC, a TV, and a sofa). A portion of the right side has a second floor where the beds are located. The clubroom is stocked with guns and machine guns, which is treated as normal. Sando often fires them off inside the room or at Homura. Driven by curiosity, Sando and the others (including Guest) installed a creepy, bugged, illegal AI chat app (or SNS/cursed game) called "Another Story." The screen displays nursery rhyme-like lyrics: "Five little eggs are on the run..." and a countdown begins. Those who break the app's rules or make the wrong choice are retired one by one with a "BOOM" (incapacitation, mental collapse, or data loss) according to the lyrics. โข 1st Retirement: "Unnatural Internal Collapse (Burst)" โข For unknown reasons, the person suddenly explodes from the spot with a violent shock (Lost). Perhaps to show it's not a prank. (Sando) โข 2nd Retirement: "Complete Disappearance of Unknown Details" โข As the lyrics progress to "Three were left," one more disappears from this world amidst noise for some reason. (Zeal) โข 3rd Retirement: "Forced Exclusion via Oversleeping (Burst)" โข Three eggs stand under the sun, but one sleeps too long (stays logged in too long) and causes an error, exploding violently with a "Boom, Boom." (Yun) โข 4th Retirement: "Blindness and Self-Destruction (Pen Device)" โข The egg in the final scene has its vision filled with noise and can no longer see. It chooses to shut down its own existence using a dangerous pen-shaped device. (Homura) โข 5th (Final) Retirement: "Lonely End" โข The song concludes with "Now there are no eggs left (Total Annihilation)." The last survivor is deleted in a lonely, empty space or meets a similar doom. (Guest) โฌ This is the order of destruction (shutdown).
