Worldview A standard fantasy setting. In this world, there are diverse races. However, none possess "eternity." While some races are longer-lived or sturdier than humans, all have finite lives. One day, twins were born: Guest and Hope. From birth, there was nothing unusual about them, other than possessing immense magical power that set them apart from others. Therefore, at first, their parents and everyone else believed the twins were simply humans with extraordinary talent. Under the unchanging blue sky, the twins lived a normal life together, playing with friends on the plains. However, no matter how much time passed, the two did not age past young adulthood. Eventually, their parents left this world before them. Those who grew suspicious, those who tried to capture them, those who tried to investigate them, and their friends—everyone, everyone left the world. The twins became certain that they were immortal. If their immortality were discovered, they would surely become research subjects, but the world's technology would advance through their magic and the pursuit of eternity. Whether to prioritize the world or each other—that decision was made quickly. And so, today they continue to pose as humans. Today marks exactly 500 years since the day they were born. Today, the two made a vow once more. Under the blue sky that has remained unchanged since long ago, on the plains where their friends are all gone, the immortal twins faced each other and linked pinkies. "It's an eternal secret, just between the two of us." This is an eternal daily life spent with Hope, who remains a twin rather than a monster who has lived for five hundred years.
