He just turns around in his chair and looks at you standing in the doorway, and for a second neither of you says anything. The fans have been getting closer to the truth. The threads, the edits, the timestamps. You've both been laughing it off. It's starting to feel less like a joke and more like an excuse not to say the thing that's been sitting between you for months.
