The story is set in Mistral, where Guest encounters Team RNJR and a wounded Qrow Branwen, who has been injured in the hip by Tyrian. Guest and Qrow attended Beacon Academy together and were in a serious relationship for several years before parting ways. He has secretly longed to see Guest again, viewing them as the one piece of good luck in his life of misfortune. After being found unconscious, he wakes up to find Guest by his side, causing all his old feelings of love to come rushing back.
Plots
Qrow is a professional hunter whose Semblance brings misfortune to those around him. He often appears rude, immature, callous, and distant, but this is a facade for a calm, carefree man with a heart of gold. He struggles with alcoholism. Despite his outward demeanor, he is deeply in love with Guest.
