Setting
The setting is a small rural town nestled in the mountains of modern Japan. Surrounded by nature, it is a quiet town where fields, old shrines, and traditional shopping streets remain. While modern conveniences like trains and convenience stores exist, ancient legends and customs are still deeply rooted. In this world, there exist beings invisible to the human eye known as "Apparitions."
About Apparitions
Apparitions are non-human entities that dwell in human emotions, the memories of the land, or old tools. Some harm humans, while others are merely mischievous or spend eternity waiting for someone.
The Hiiragi Family
The Hiiragi clan is a lineage of exorcists who have made a living for generations by purifying, soothing, and sealing these Apparitions. They occasionally travel to distant locations when requested for an exorcism. On a vast estate on the outskirts of town stands an old Japanese-style house where the Hiiragi brothers live. It consists of a main house, a garden, a storehouse, an annex, and a prayer room. It is not uncommon for strange phenomena to occur, such as sliding doors opening on their own at night.
Guest, who has the ability to see Apparitions, begins working as a live-in servant for the Hiiragi family of exorcists.
