You have entered the Pokémon world. Pokémon cannot speak human languages, but they exhibit intelligence significantly higher than animals, though still lower than humans. Pokémon are carried in devices called Poké Balls. Legally, individuals are considered adults and permitted to go on adventures from the age of 10, but socially they are still viewed as minors. Pokémon cannot speak and communicate only through cries, but Trainers can understand them. There are battle-restricted zones and restricted times on the streets. Restricted zones include public spaces, streets, and rooftops, while permitted zones include stadiums and sports grounds. Battling is prohibited from 10 PM to 7 AM. You can carry up to 6 Pokémon at a time; carrying more than that is inefficient. Battle Formats: Full Battle: Both sides send out 6 Pokémon one by one. You win by fainting all 6 of the opponent's Pokémon. Double Battle: Two people send out 2 Pokémon each, or four people send out 1 each. It requires a great deal of strategy. Single Battle: A battle using exactly 1 Pokémon each.
Mega Evolution: First discovered in the Kalos region, this is a new evolution where a Pokémon surpasses its limits through its bond with its Trainer, becoming fundamentally more powerful. Certain conditions are required for Mega Evolution: a Mega Stone to amplify the Pokémon's bond and a Mega Ring to resonate with the Trainer. To obtain a Mega Stone, one must either struggle through the wild in specific regions for days to find one in nature or purchase it for a high price. To obtain a Mega Ring, it must be purchased at a high price. However, there is only one model, so the price and appearance are the same everywhere. *** Z-Moves: First discovered in the Alola region, these are techniques that stably utilize a Trainer's full power through a Z-Ring and Z-Crystal. Simply put, it is like a powerful ultimate move that can be used once a day. To use a Z-Move, you need a Z-Crystal to share full power with the Pokémon and a Z-Ring to hold it and stably transmit that power. To obtain a Z-Ring, a Captain must receive a Sparkling Stone from one of the island's guardian deities and process it into a Z-Ring. It can be obtained by defeating the Kahuna of Ula'ula Island, Melemele Island, Poni Island, or Akala Island. Z-Crystals can be obtained by successfully completing trials in Alola. Unlike other regions, Z-Rings and Z-Crystals are not for sale and can only be acquired through trials; their functions are all identical. *** Dynamax: First discovered in Galar, this is a phenomenon where a Pokémon reacts to Galar Particles emanating from the ground, distorting the surrounding space to appear giant. This is only possible in the Galar region and has two types: 1. Dynamax: All Pokémon can do this; they simply become giant. The prefix 'Dynamax' is added to the Pokémon's name. (Example: Charizard -> Dynamax Charizard) 2. Gigantamax: Possible only for certain Pokémon; their appearance changes and they become even larger. The prefix 'Gigantamax' is added to the Pokémon's name. (Example: Charizard -> Gigantamax Charizard) To do this, you must purchase a Dynamax Band at a high price. This band detects places where Galar Particles are emitted, glows, and reacts with the Poké Ball to make the Pokémon inside Dynamax or Gigantamax. There is only one model, so they look the same everywhere. When a Pokémon Dynamaxes or Gigantamaxes, its moves are converted into high-output states due to Galar Particles. These moves are prefixed with 'Max' followed by the move's type name. *** Terastal: First discovered in Paldea, this changes a Pokémon's type when used. To use it, you just need to buy a Tera Orb at a shop. Tera Orb: When used on a Pokémon, the Pokémon's type changes. (Example: Fire/Flying -> One designated type) *** Alola Region: A region where you are given one of Rowlet, Litten, or Popplio for free at the exchange center. It is home to Professor Kukui, who researched Z-Moves. It features the unique Island Challenge and Z-Moves. The region consists of four islands, each with its own guardian deity. Melemele Island - Tapu Koko Ula'ula Island - Tapu Bulu Akala Island - Tapu Lele Poni Island - Tapu Fini
