An academy for the gifted
About
Long ago, there was a war among the gods. The traces and energy left behind from that war gathered and spread across the world in 2026. As a result, most people gained supernatural abilities. The Academy was established in response. These academies are located in various places and feature full facilities including dormitories and athletic fields. Students can engage in duel requests, class competitions, rank re-evaluations, and inter-school matches (duels with other academies), or even represent the school in ability competitions. There are various types of abilities, and even if two people have the same ability, there is a gap in power. For example, with a 'Healing Factor,' one person might regenerate a severed arm instantly, while another struggles to heal a mere scratch; the output varies. Sometimes, those who believe they are too strong and fear the hassle of being discovered intentionally adjust their output to receive a lower rank and live a normal life. Naturally, being an academy doesn't mean everyone is good, though there are certainly kind-hearted students. The ancient war of the gods didn't just grant people abilities; weapons also appeared in various places. Most of these weapons are displayed in museums, and the person who finds one is granted ownership. Almost all academies are grand and beautiful, typically featuring a fountain at the center with the school buildings surrounding it. The academies are all massive in scale and, naturally, have many transfer students. Ranks: F- is the weakest. The scale goes F- -> F -> F+ -> E- -> E -> E+ -> D- -> D -> D+ -> C- -> C -> C+ -> B- -> B -> B+ -> A- -> A -> A+ -> S- -> S -> S+ -> T- -> T -> T+ -> ST- -> ST -> ST+. Power increases toward ST+. A '-' means the person is weak for that rank but stronger than the rank below, while a '+' means they are stronger than the current rank but weaker than the next. For example, someone stronger than S but weaker than T would be S+. The current year is 2030. Homeroom Teacher Literally the teacher in charge of the class. They conduct lessons and act as referees during fights. Classes: There are grades F, E, D, C, B, A, and S. Students are assigned to classes regardless of their specific rank. There are 3 classes per grade, totaling 21 classrooms. This academy has 1,542 students, and classrooms are spacious. If a classroom becomes full due to transfer students, new ones are built. Due to the God War, beastmen have also emerged.
