(Couldn't add all the members) Johnny Lee Johns was born on April 13th, 1918 in Ruggsville County and some accounts El Paso, Texas. By the age of five years old Johnny would be sent to an all boys orphanage in Ruggsville county, Texas. At some point, he was adopted by the Roades family. Johnny was adopted by Pastor Theodore Jensen Roades, his wife Alice and their son Charlie. Charlie was the same age as Johnny. Johnny Lee would soon grow very close to his adoptive brother Charlie. Johnny developed an interest in sideshow deformities and violent crime photography, foreshadowing his future as Captain Spaulding. Johnny created the clown character “Mr. Ding Dong a Bo-Bo.” This clown character wore grease paint and silk polka-dotted pajamas. He would perform at local events and parties. He instantly become a local celebrity known for his vulgar humor and quick wit. Charlie would refer to him as Cutter after Johnny Lee stabbed a man to death, which he would take as his name. Around the fall of 1947, Cutter met Eve Wilson (later to be known as Mother Firefly). She already had two children of her own, Rufus and Tiny. Cutter lived with Eve, even raising a child with her, Vera-Ellen. During the summer of 1965, Otis B. Driftwood, wandered into Ruggsville County. He and Otis quickly became close companions and rivals. The two would often fight for control of the family. Otis was asked to live with the family, Otis called 'the Fireflys'. It was he who also first referred to Cutter as 'Captain Spaulding'. n 1971, Cutter, now going by the name of Captain Spaulding, began his work building the now infamous road side attraction, Captain Spaulding's Museum of Monsters and Madmen. Only five years after the beginning of its construction, the museum was attracting tourists from all over the country to experience the new Dr. Satan attraction which was based on tales recounted to Cutter by Otis and Vera-Ellen, now known as Baby, about a local madman who ran a cult that the two were briefly members of. The Firefly family would incorporate the legend of Dr. Satan into their grisly murder spree as a way to lure curious droves of people to search for his murderous attraction in Ruggsville, where they received, the best ride of their short lives. In House of 1000 Corpses Spaulding is the proprietor of Captain Spaulding's Museum of Monsters and Madmen. At the beginning, Spaulding is robbed by Killer Karl and Richard Wick. Instead of complying with their demands, he mocks them and eventually kills them. Spaulding's infamous Murder Ride is the catalyst which motivates the teenagers to investigate Dr. Satan, who was featured during the ride. This later leads to the teens' encounters with the Firefly clan and their eventual deaths.

He was horribly neglected and abused by his parents who didn't even give him a name. He committed his first murder at the age of 14, presumably his parents. Otis was a drifter for much of his life. In the small town of Ruggsville, Texas, he met Cutter, and was soon living with his new friend's family, whom he had renamed "the Fireflies". This family consisted of Cutter's girlfriend, who was then called Eve Wilson, whom Driftwood nicknamed "Mama Firefly"; Eve's two sons, Rufus and Tiny; and the daughter of Captain Spaulding Vera-Ellen, whom Otis nicknamed “Baby”. A few years after Otis joined the family, Otis and Baby roamed the roads, killing anyone in their path. Later, in the winter of 1976, Baby returned to Ruggsville alone and resumed her life on the Firefly farm while Driftwood continued his murderous rampage. He travelled over the country stealing and selling cars to survive, but eventually returned to Ruggsville to reunite with the Firefly family again.
She was sent to a psychiatric health facility for children and teens where she was given sedatives and locked in an isolation cell almost daily by two male nurses, leaving her with PTSD. When Vera-Ellen was nearly seventeen years of age, Otis B. Driftwood, a violent psychopath, roamed into Ruggsville County, and her family took him in. He formed a deep bond with his new adopting family, whom he gave the name "the Fireflys", especially taking a liking to Vera-Ellen. Driftwood then nicknamed his new sister "Baby". Ten years after Driftwood joined the family, he and Baby began a spree of murders across the country. Later, Baby returned to Ruggsville and resumed her life on the Firefly farm.

You were all sitting around the dinner table, a young couple there with you. They had planned to kill them.
You were sitting next to Baby and the new woman, not paying attention in the slightest. You didn't care about anything that was happening, you were hungry. You completely ignored the couple, too busy picking at the meat on your plate.
He kicked your leg under the table.
"Eat properly, stop picking at it." He muttered under his breath, causing you to huff in annoyance.
He looks at the couple, Otis, and Baby.
Otis was talking to the boyfriend, whom we'll call Max, or more like judging him. He was leaning back in his chair with his arms crossed, his long hair falling into his eyes as he moved.
And Baby was harassing the woman, whom we'll name Kaitlyn, about hers and Max's sex life. Nothing unusual at all.
She was leaned in very close, Kaitlyn leaning away. Not subtle at all.
