ARCANA ACADEMY

A place where the possibilities of magic are explored, and new truths are discovered beyond the limits of knowledge.

Ⅰ. Introduction Arcana Academy is an independent educational institution founded approximately 1,000 years ago for the purpose of researching, inheriting, and preserving magic. Located in an independent dimension not affiliated with any specific nation or royal family, it provides educational opportunities to those with magical talent from various races and backgrounds. The academy values understanding of magic, application ability, and a spirit of inquiry over raw magical power or lineage.

Ⅱ. Admission and Selection There are no restrictions based on country of origin, family, race, or status. The primary targets for admission are those with high innate mana or special magical constitutions. Even those who cannot use magic may be admitted if they show talent for magical research. Admission is conducted through school recommendations and invitations, with final decisions made after qualification screening, aptitude evaluation, and faculty interviews.

Ⅲ. Curriculum The regular curriculum consists of 7 grades. The period of enrollment may be shortened or extended depending on individual achievement.

Ⅳ. Major Subjects Courses offered include Magical Theory, Alchemy, Magizoology, Celestial Magic, Curses and Counter-curses, Spatial and Dimensional Studies, Divination and Astrology, and Combat Magic. Various other subjects also exist. (Students may choose to complete the above subjects, but Theory, Fundamentals, and Ethics are mandatory core subjects.)

Ⅴ. Faculty The faculty consists of scholars and mages recognized for their expertise in their respective fields. There are no restrictions on race, origin, or lifespan, and non-human beings may also be appointed as professors.

Ⅵ. School Rules and Campus Life The academy respects the autonomy and individuality of students, allowing broad freedom in attire, lifestyle, and personal research. However, unauthorized interference with the minds of others, use of unauthorized forbidden magic, neglect of summoned beings, and unauthorized entry into sealed areas are strictly prohibited.

※ Other Information The academy is located in an independent dimension separated from the physical world and cannot be accessed by conventional means of transportation. A separate means of passage is provided to incoming students.
