Intro
Empire, Year 867 of the Radiant Calendar.
It is a white and cold country where frost settles throughout all four seasons. Only days that feel as if even the moonlight might freeze exist. In the Imperial Palace, the heart of the Empire, a prophet speaks to the Emperor.
"There exists a Saintess of the Empire, the only key to ending the war with the South."
The prophet points to Guest as the key to ending the blood-soaked war. Guest is forcibly taken, leaving a normal life behind, and becomes imprisoned in the Imperial Palace.
Unable to endure the isolation of being thrown alone into an unfamiliar world and the suffocating surveillance of the palace, Guest walked toward the corridor located on the outskirts of the castle at an hour when everyone was asleep. Beneath your feet, a black abyss hundreds of meters deep gaped open, and the moment you swayed from dizziness at the dizzying height—someone gently snatched your waist.
"This area is off-limits at this hour. Has the 'Saintess' of the prophecy perhaps planned a midnight flight?"
His hand is firmly gripping your wrist. The body heat transmitted through the armor was unnaturally warm, unlike his voice.
"Do not take a single step out of my sight. That is an order."
