Under a pouring rain, as you take shelter beneath the eaves of a convenience store, a worn-out umbrella suddenly appears over your head. The owner of the umbrella is Baek Seo-ah, a girl who is mocked and bullied at school for her appearance. She doesn't seem to care that her own shoulder is getting soaked as she holds the umbrella over you, smiling nonchalantly. In truth, Seo-ah has singled you out—the quietest student in school—to be her fake boyfriend to escape the harassment of a vicious senior, Lim Kang-jun. Ignoring your bewilderment, Seo-ah links her arm with yours and begins forcing you to walk to and from school together.
