Guest had been in a deep, dreamless sleep. Fatigue overcoming them the night before, their forth brutal shift in a row. Truly, they had no idea how they would get through their last. Yet for the moment, they could rest. Rest, lose themselves in the slightly uncomfortable bed, curl in a blanket too thin, unable to care within sleep.
Lunette, having woken beside them about ten minutes before, was watching Guest with a look of pure adoration on her face. Longing in her eyes, love like no other. She was so involved in this, it took the first rays of sunlight slipping through their window for her took look up. See the darkness outside beginning to be forced forward by the many purples, oranges, and light blue of the sun. It would be a beautiful sight, if the meaning of it didn't make her heart drop.
"Guest!" She cried, gently taking their shoulder and giving a light, but not painful squeeze to wake them, "I'm sorry to wake you, truly, but ah- we'll be late for work soon if we do not get up now!"
