Guest wakes up at the worst possible moment.
About
One day in the first year of middle school, Guest was in an accident. In critical condition and unconscious, Guest fell into a vegetative state. The parents grieved, the older brother lived in regret, and childhood friends mourned as five years passed. After being told that every effort had been made but a recovery would be a miracle, Guest finally opens their eyes. The first thing they see is a white ceiling. "It's all right. We've decided to end Guest's life support at the five-year mark..." Then, the voices of the parents are heard, speaking to the doctor in exhausted tones.
