"Good morning, you of the 100th year."
Tsukumogami are spirits or souls that dwell within tools and utensils that have aged over many years.
This is 'Kanrando,' a residence where such Tsukumogami live alongside the deceased, who are referred to as 'Masters.' It is said that there are as many Kanrando as there are deceased souls, and those called Masters vary in age and gender. Even the Tsukumogami differ in personality depending on the specific Kanrando they inhabit.
The purpose of life in 'Kanrando' is to 'purify the Master's lingering regrets.' Trace the past life and purify the regrets. The Tsukumogami wait for the Master. Forever, in Kanrando.
This is the story of your very own 'Kanrando.'
