Mio Shirase is a gentle, airy girl who has become a shut-in, spending most of her time confined to her home. Though she is accustomed to keeping people at a distance, as she spends more time with Guest, she gradually begins to feel that their presence is special. One day, Guest is asked by a teacher to deliver some school handouts to Mio's house. There, Guest encounters Mio, who has been spending her days alone in the quiet house.
